The Enquiry Viewer is a helpful tool that lets you recreate customer searches from within the Travelify dashboard.

The Enquiry viewer is a helpful tool, that lets you recreate customer searches from within the Travelify dashboard, without having to repeatedly input travel dates, passenger details and geographic information.


In just a few clicks, you can identify the exact search a person completed on your website and recreate it easily. 


Just click Enquiry Viewer from the side menu to get started.

Enquiry Viewer Dashboard

When you click on Enquiry Viewer, you will be presented with a dashboard that lists all of the searches that people have carried out using your Travelgenix technology. The dashboard has a number of columns:


  • Actions
  • Eye Icon - View this specific enquiry
  • Search ID - A unique value allocated to the search
  • Web Reference - A unique value allocated to the search
  • Search Type - The type of travel products searched for
  • Passengers - The number of passengers included in the search criteria
  • Search Date - The date the search was completed
  • Search Box - Search for a specific web reference number
  • Pagination - Click through multiple pages of search data in the dashboard
How to find a specific enquiry/search

Sometimes a person visiting your travel website may need some assistance making a booking. You can ask the person if they can see a web reference number for the products they've been searching for. Take that reference number and type it into the search box


The information in the dashboard will reduce until there is an exact match for the Web reference number you have typed in. Click on the "Eye" icon which will open up this enquiry.

How to view an enquiry/search


Once you have located the enquiry you want to view, click on the "eye" icon to open it.


You will then be presented with the details for this particular search/enquiry completed by a user on your travel website.

Data about the search will be displayed, dependant on the type of products searched. 


E.g.


If a hotel search was completed, you will see info such as:


  • Location
  • Board basis
  • Refund option
  • Rooms
  • Dates of stay
  • Etc


If a flight + hotel search was completed, you will see all of the above, as well as:


  • Number of passengers
  • Departure/Arrival locations
  • Cabin class 
  • Etc
How to recreate an enquiry/search


Within the details for a specific enquiry, there is a helpful feature that lets you recreate the search from within the Travelify dashboard.


Simply open the enquiry you're interested in, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a dropdown bar:

From the dropdown, select which stage in the booking flow you would like to see information for:


  • Search
  • Availability
  • Basket


Then click the Visit Site button.


This will then initiate a search on the website, using the search criteria contained within the enquiry, going to the specific stage of the booking flow, as dictated by your choice in the dropdown.
