Footer

The footer is the last section of your site, located at the bottom, and is the same on each page of your site. Footers are a convenient way to make sure your site visitors have access to important links like terms of service, privacy policy, or social media, regardless of the page they are visiting. In addition to legal links, the footer is a good place for copyright information and general contact information.

Note

If you are using Classic Editor, your footer will not be flex. If you are using Editor 2.0 your footer will be flex.

Customise Footer

While the footer is its own section, the contents can be edited just like pages. By default, there will be at least one row. If there is only one row, the row will not have the option to be deleted.

To customise the footer section design:

  1. Hover over the top of the footer, and click Footer.
  2. On the Style tab, adjust the footer background by selecting a color or an image. You can also select a border style and thickness.
  3. To adjust the padding or margin, click the Spacing tab.

Hide and Unhide Footer (Classic Editor)

To hide the footer on a specific page:

  1. Navigate to the desired page.
  2. Hover over the top of the footer, and click Footer.
  3. Click the Hide footer on this page toggle.

To unhide the footer:

  1. In the side panel, click the Unhide Elements icon under Settings.
  2. Click the Hide icon on the footer, and select Yes to unhide the footer.

Hide Footer (Editor 2.0)

The footer can be hidden from the floating bar, context menu, and layers panel.

Hide Footer from Floating Bar

To hide the footer from the floating bar:

  1. Click the footer to open the floating bar.
  2. Click Hide on Device and then select This page or All pages.

  1. Right-click the footer to open the context menu.
  2. Click Hide on Device and then select This page or All pages.

Hide Footer from Layers Panel

When hiding the footer from the layers panel, it hides the footer for the current page and device. To hide the footer from the layers panel, click the eye icon next to the footer layer.

Unhide Footer (Editor 2.0)

The footer can be unhidden from the layers panel.

Unhide Footer from Layers Panel

To unhide the footer from the layers panel, click the crossed out eye icon next to the footer. Note that unhiding the footer from the layers panel only unhides it from the pages and devices you selected to have it hidden on.
